# Make a social video with AI, with motion and music

> Describe the video and an AI agent builds it in vDesign as a page that plays, with words that rise, numbers that count and a camera that moves, then exports MP4 or GIF. Free, on the model you choose.

The prompt:

> A 6-second Instagram video (4:5) for the Riverside Farmers' Market: a hook line, the number of farms counting up, and an end card with the date, time and place.

## How it was made

The agent laid the video out as a storyboard: three scenes side by side on one wide page, each
the size of the feed, with the market's colours and type as tokens. Then it wrote the motion, one
line per thing that moves: the sun pops in, the headline rises word by word, a stroke draws
under it, the camera moves to the next scene, the number counts up from zero, and the end card's
date gives a small pulse. Each line is placed relative to the one before it, with `after`,
`with` and `delay`, so nothing is timed by hand.

The video above is the GIF that vDesign's exporter made from the file, with nothing added.

## What a page can do in time

- **Text that arrives:** whole, by word or by letter, rising, fading, popping or wiping in.
- **Numbers that count** up to the value the text holds.
- **Strokes that draw** themselves, for an underline, an icon or a logo.
- **Bars that grow** from the bottom, one after another.
- **A camera** that moves between scenes on one page, so the page at rest is the storyboard.
- **Slides that present:** transitions between pages, parts that appear in order, and buttons
that go to another page, all played with Play.

## Music, cut to the beat

A video can carry one music track. Drop it on the canvas, give the tempo (the agent asks rather
than guessing it), and times can be written in beats and bars: the camera moves on the bar,
words enter on the beat. A metronome on the timeline checks the timing by ear, and the MP4 the
app exports carries the music.

## Change it in a sentence or by hand

- "Make a 9:16 version for Reels" adds a page at that size.
- "Slower, and hold the end card for two seconds" changes a few timings.
- "Count to 35, we have five more farms" changes one number; the count follows it.
- Or scrub the timeline on the canvas, drag a scene, and play it again.

## Questions

### Which sizes can it make?

Any. Ask for the platform and the agent uses its size, such as 1080 × 1920 for Reels, TikTok, Shorts and Stories, 1080 × 1350 for the Instagram and LinkedIn feed, 1080 × 1080 square, or 1920 × 1080 for YouTube and websites. For another size, ask for another page.

### Can I add music?

Yes, one track per video. Drop the file on the canvas and give its tempo, and the motion can be timed in beats and bars so the cuts land on the music. An MP4 exported from the app carries the sound. GIF has none.

### Which formats does it export?

MP4 from the vDesign app, and GIF anywhere, including from the command line. Every page also still exports as PNG, PDF, SVG and the rest, drawn as it looks at rest.

### Can I still edit it after it is made?

Yes. The video is a page of ordinary text and shapes with a motion section after it. Retype a word, move a scene or change how something enters, and play it again.
