In short
Figma Make is Figma’s prompt-to-prototype tool: describe an app or a flow and it builds a working prototype inside Figma, with Figma’s AI behind it. Figma began enforcing AI credit limits on its plans in 2026, and Make is one of the features that spends them.
vDesign is a design tool for any model and for anything people look at: posters, slides, brochures, social posts, menus, brand guidelines, one-page sites and short video. An agent builds the design on a canvas and you keep editing it by hand.
Where each one wins
Choose Figma Make when you are building software in a team that already lives in Figma: interactive prototypes, design systems, components shared across files, developer hand-off, and the permissions and admin a company needs.
Choose vDesign when the output is something people look at rather than an app: print, marketing, decks and video; when you want to choose the model; and when you want no seats and no credits.

Using both
Keep the product’s design system in Figma. Use vDesign for the launch poster, the investor deck, the brand one-pager and the social cut-downs, where an assistant can do the first draft in any model and the file stays easy for the next model to change.
